  • Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship. Dominik Mysterio will be suspended in a shark tank to prevent interference.
  • Nia Jax vs. Bayley for the WWE Women's Championship
  • Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu
  • CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre, Hell in a Cell

WWE Bad Blood predictions

Damian Priest vs Finn Balor

The problem with great matches like this is someone has to see their momentum impacted with a loss. Neither of these guys deserve a loss, both have been killing it, but Priest is coming of a championship run and Balor has way more friends. I'll go with the prince winning here. Prediction: Balor wins

Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley

I'm far more concerned about Dom being stuck behind bars than I am either of these competitors. He can't go back! But I don't think it's a sweep for the bad guys and with Dom preoccupied, Rhea Ripley will get the title back. Prediction: Ripley wins

Nia Jax vs Bayley

I don't think either of these women leave Atlanta with the gold. I think it's Tiffy time and she walks out with the title. Probably pinning Jax. I could see one of them turning good, and I think it should be Jax since Tiffany Stratton is a great bad girl. But that's cheating. I'm going to pick Bayley vs. Nia Jax in an actual match. And we're going with Nia Jax. Prediction: Jax wins

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu

This is the match to see. It's Roman Reigns first match since Wrestlemania and he's tagging up with the guy who beat him. Rhodes is the top guy in the company, and the other three guys are must see. This is going to be a war, it's going to include a lot of carnage, and I see the bad guys walking out with the win. Prediction: Sikoa and Fatu win

CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre

This feud has been one of the best in recent years, and it's pretty funny a bracelet turned up the heat on this feud. So much so that they needed to settle it in Hell in a Cell. These guys won't take crazy falls off the top of the cell, but they'll beat the heck out of each other. If you like watching dudes go all out, this is your match. Like most of this show, it's a coinflip. I'll go with the good guy winning, but there are no losers here. Prediction: CM Punk wins

WWE PLE schedule

WWE will be busy the next few months with premium live events, including one that will be on free TV. Up next is WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. That will be held Nov. 2. A few weeks later on Nov. 30, WWE will hold Survivor Series War Games. Next up will be a special Saturday Night's Main Event, which will air on NBC on Dec. 14. After that, we have to wait until Feb. 1 for the Royal Rumble.

WWE Smackdown results

WWE held its last card before Bad Blood last night. Here are the results.

  • Carmelo Hayes beat AJ Styles by injury default
  • Michin defeated Chelsea Green in a dumpster match.
  • Naomi defeated Tiffany Stratton
  • The Bloodline defeated DIY and Street Profits in a ladder match to retain the title

AJ Styles injury

Styles returned to Smackdown last night after missing a few months and he immediately suffered an ankle injury ending his match. It sounds like he should be OK, but it was a disappointing return. It wasn't much better for Hayes, who was met with a BFT from U.S. Champ LA Knight.

Will Tiffany Stratton cash in on Nia Jax?

Tonight's card features a match between Bayley and Nia Jax. This should be interesting because the challenger did her best to drive a wedge between Jax and Stratton, who has the Money in the Bank contract. Will she cash in tonight after teasing it last night on Smackdown? She promised she wouldn't, and she wouldn't lie, would she?

Motor City Machine Guns debuting soon?

Last night on Smackdown, a promo aired teasing new wrestlers coming soon. Social media was excited hoping that it meant the debut of the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, who were stars in TNA. WWE's tag team division has been pretty darn good as of late, and they'll just add to the depth of the division.

Is the Rock returning at Bad Blood?

He might be.

The Rock attended a high school football game Friday night at a school about an hour away from where Bad Blood will be. He might be a bad guy in wrestling, but he was there to attend Apalachee High's first home football game since a mass shooting. Very cool of him to do that. It's hard to imagine he wouldn't want to be front and center, and possibly get involved as his family battles it out. The match features three members of his Bloodline, and the fourth is his newest biggest rival, Cody Rhodes.

WWE Bad Blood start time different from normal

Typically PLEs start at 8 p.m. when they are in North America. This one is in Atlanta, but it's starting early. There's a good reason for it. Tonight, Endeavor will hold a doubleheader. After Bad Blood, UFC will hold UFC 307.

WWE invades Ted Turner's turf

During the Monday Night Wars, Atlanta was WCW country. Tonight, WWE holds its PPV in a town that was unfriendly territory for them. But WWE is embracing WCW tonight, even bringing in legends like Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard for tonight's cards. Looks like the war is over. Ted Turner owned WCW before AOL/Time Warner sold the company to WWE in 2001.

Crown Jewel 2024 up next

Cody Rhodes said this week on the Pat McAfee Show that tonight could set up things for November, when WWE holds Crown Jewel and Survivor Series. Obviously Roman Reigns wants his title back, and we know the Rock wants a match against Rhodes. But who else would make a good challenger? I'm thinking it's either Kevin Owens or Randy Orton. Neither seem overly happy that Rhodes is going through with tonight's match, helping Reigns.

Metro Boomin welcomes us to Bad Blood

Roman Reigns first match since Wrestlemania

While there are a lot of things to be excited about, seeing Roman return to the ring should be the highlight of tonight. Even if the Rock returns, Roman has surpassed him, at least in my book. Reigns had such a fun run as champion, hopefully tonight gets him back on track to get the title. But he also needs the title of Tribal Chief back, so he might be more worried about Solo Sikoa than settling things with Cody Rhodes.

WWE Bad Blood Match order

Tonight's show has two matches that could main event just about any PLE you'd want to have. CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been in a feud that dates back to Punk's return at Survivor Series. And Hell in a Cell is a great attraction no matter who is locked inside. But it sounds like that will be the opener. That means the main event is the Dream Partner tag team match (shoutout ECW!) with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns taking on the Bloodline.

Jimmy Uso coming back? What about Paul Heyman?

Run-ins are some of the coolest things about pro wrestling. Who will interfere in tonight's match? I assume the rest of Sikoa's Bloodline will interfere, but who will be the equalizers? Will it be Kevin Owens and Randy Orton? Will it be the return of Jimmy Uso, who has been on the shelf thanks to his brother Solo Sikoa and the rest of his crew. Will Paul Heyman return? The Wise Man hasn't been seen since he was attacked. Lots of cool things could happen.

Samantha Irvin honors America

Ring announcer Samantha Irvin opened tonight's show with a great rendition of God Bless America. She's very talented.

Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker got it all started

The show opened with clips of the first Hell in a Cell match featuring Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker. That match was the first appearance of Kane. That was one of the most fun matches I ever watched. They beat the heck out of each other. Hopefully tonight's HIAC lives up to the standard it set. If anyone can do it, it's Punk and McIntyre.

Naomi, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill get things started

The hosts of WWE Bad Blood Naomi, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were the first superstars in the ring tonight, but they weren't there to defend their crown or beat anyone up. They came out to announce the first match will be Hell in a Cell.

Goldberg, Killer Mike in the crowd

Goldberg, who had one of the most famous matches in Atlanta history when he defeated Hulk Hogan for the WCW title is in the crowd. Cool seeing him because he was upset at WWE a while ago. Hip hop star Killer Mike is in the crowd too.

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre

The match opens with Hell in a Cell. That's how you know the card is loaded! McIntyre is out first and he doesn't look happy. CM Punk's return has been very entertaining, and while anything he does is usually going to be fun, McIntyre has held up his end of the bargain and then some. He was a star before this, but this feud has elevated him. It's elevated Punk, too. Both were Hall of Famers before this started, but they just keep getting better and better. Oh well, it's clobbering time! Punk is now making his way to the ring. They just mentioned Punk is 1-0 in HIAC, Drew is 0-3. And the cage is officially locked, it's time to get to the destruction.

It looks like there are holes in the cage so the guys will be able to climb up, but I don't need to see either of these dudes go flying off the cell. I hope that's just how the cage is made. No need for that.

And they're off and beating each other up pretty good. Punk looks like he's in UFC mode. But McIntyre takes control after brushing off Punk's offense. Now they're brawling on the outside of the ring, which is why HIAC is way cooler than a cage match. Punk grabs a table from under the ring and looks for more weapons. He's found a chair. This is pretty sloppy by WWE keeping these weapons under the ring. Can't someone check before the show? Unsafe working conditions, anyone? Anyway, McIntyre is still in control and now he's looking for weapons. He grabbed a tool box. It contains a wrench. Someone needs to be held accountable for this. Anyway, Punk turned the tables and now he's using the wrench.

Punk just took a page out of Raven's book (that he stole from Shane Douglas) and hit McIntyre with a drop toe hold slamming McIntyre into the table. Now he's slamming him on a legless table. Punk continued pouring it on until McIntyre hits a Claymore kick on the outside. This match is as brutal as we expected.

McIntyre just threw Punk into the cage face first. I wonder if that cut him. It was like a lawn dart. Yup, he's bleeding and bleeding bad. Now he's taking steps to win. Seriously, he tried to hit Punk with the ring stairs, but Punk ducked. So instead, he rammed Punk into the stairs. If at first you don't hit a dude in the head with steps, try, try again!

They're back in the ring and McIntyre is going back to the wrench. He's sticking it right into Punk's cut. Ouch. Punk wears the crimson mask! Yo Michael Cole, I said it first! Of course I stole it from Joey Styles, who I'm sure stole it from someone. It's wrestling!

Punk went for a top rope wrenching. He then hit McIntyre with the tool box. And now McIntyre is bleeding worse than Punk. And Punk his a top rope tool box.

They battle for a while and Punk hits a Go To Sleep, but McIntyre rolls out of the ring! That was curtains, but Punk couldn't capitalize. He rolls McIntyre back into the ring and eats a Claymore kick. Punk is down, but kicks out at two!

Punk recovers and slaps on a sharpshooter. McIntyre is in pain. Could he pass out? Nope, he used the scientific "wrench to the back" to escape. Now he's using the wrench on Punk's head again.

It's turning into a chop fest, but Punk breaks it up with a boot to the head. Both guys are down. This is a long HIAC match. McIntyre just superplexed Punk from the apron to the floor through a table. I hope neither of these dudes have plans tomorrow because they're not going to make it. Good shoutout to Tommy Rich and Buzz Sawyer by Corey Graves. Last battle of Atlanta was a great match. I remember watching it on the old school WWE Network.

McIntyre is now trying to get the ring steps in the ring and he's struggling. His back took a beating on that plex. Punk is now on his knees, but unable to get in the ring. He gets some help from his opponent.

Punk hits a GTS out of nowhere and only gets a two count. One of these dudes is going to lose this match, and he doesn't deserve it. McIntyre hits White Noise on the steps. That's ridiculous. And Punk kicks out. Is this match better than Shawn-Taker? Maybe, if Able interferes. But it's been brutal and great at the same time. Lots of blood, which I don't like, but it's such a good match. Punk locks in the anaconda vice, then he blocks a wrench shot from McIntyre and goes to town on the Scottish warrior wit the wrench. McIntyre is begging off and then hits a nutshot. McIntyre is dripping like a faucet. But at least he wasn't hit with a low blow. Punk is trying to recover while McIntyre looks for more weapons.

And now we have thumbtacks it looks like? The ref tried to wipe the blood from McIntyre's but he pushed him off before emptying the bag. No thumbtacks, just beads. He goes for a Claymore but missed and landed on the steps. Now Punk is wrapping a chain around his knee. Someone is going to sleep.

Punk scrapes McIntyre off the mat, shoves beads down his throat, hits the G2S with the chain and wins the match.

CM Punk defeats Drew McIntyre

What a war. Great match. Seriously if you missed it, watch it. Get Peacock if you need to. Great match.

CM Punk-Drew McIntyre rating

This gets a 9.8 out of 10. It was a bit gory, a bit wild, but nothing but fun.

Bad Blood 1997

After that great match, let's take a look at the results from the first great HIAC match, which now might be the second best of all time.

  • D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa and Rocky Maivia defeated the Legion of Doom
  • Max Mini and Nova beat Mosaic and Tarantula
  • The Godwinns beat the Headbangers
  • Owen Hart pinned Faarooq for the Intercontinental title
  • Disciples of Apocalypse defeated Los Boricuas
  • Bret Hart and British Bulldog beat Vader and the Patriot in a Flag match.
  • Shawn Michaels beat Undertaker in the first Hell in a Cell (Kane's debut)

Nia Jax vs. Bayley, WWE Women's Championship

Next up is a rematch from SummerSlam when Jax defeated Bayley for the title.

Legends in the crowd

They announced WWE Hall of Famer Jacqueline, Lilian Garcia and Booker T. Mickey James, X-Pac and Jersey Shore's own Diamond Dallas Page is there too.

Heat amongst good girls?

They interviewed the hosts, and while Naomi seemed to be firmly behind Bayley, Bianca Belair didn't seem as enthused. It'll be interesting to see where that goes. I hope they don't turn Belair. She's one of my favorites. I can't cheer for bad girls!

Great to have CM Punk back

CM Punk makes wrestling more fun. AEW was so much fun when he was there, WWE was great during his first run, he had a fun run in TNA and was even better in Ring of Honor. But he might be doing his best work ever now. That's a heck of a statement because he's an all-timer. It's also good to see him happy. He might not take crap, but he does seem like a good dude if you treat him well. I'm glad he's back.

Bayley vs. Nia Jax

Bayley is out first, next up is Nia Jax. This is probably the match I'm looking forward to the least, and I think it's going to be fun, so that tells you how stacked the card is. They have a heck of a lot to live up to after that opener. Nia opens up hot, bouncing Bayley around the ring. Speaking of good to be back, it's good to have Jax back. She's just running over Bayley.

Jax continued the domination, but Bayley went to do a powerbomb. Nia turned it into a Frankensteiner. Then hits a belly to Bayley (Nia did it). But she only got a two count. Jax continues to dominate. Bayley hits a knee lift and she's starting to get some offense in.

She's going for a Macho Man elbow and nails it for a two count. Oh yeah, dig it!

They go to the outside and Bayley looks to be favoring her ankle. Jax went for a falling avalanche on the stairs, but Bayley moved. She hits an elbow and tries to get Jax in but she can't budge her. She breaks the count, and gets clobbered when she returns to the outside.

Jax hits a Samoan drop on Bayley after powerboming her on the ring stairs. This is a very good match. And now it's Bayley with the Samoan drop. Wow. That was cool. But she only got a two count. Jax fell on the ref. And I don't see the ref getting up.

Bayley hits her finisher but the ref comes out.

Officially Tiffy Time

Tiffany Stratton comes out with the Money in the Bank contract. She wakes up the official and gets caught by Nia trying cash in. They argue and Bayley goes for a rollup but only gets two.

Bayley goes for a top rope move, but Tiffy throws her brief case. Jax hits a sitdown splash and retains.

Nia Jax defeats Bayley

Bayley hung in there, but it wasn't enough. Maybe if Tiffany Stratton didn't stick her nose in, she would have won. Oh well.

Nia Jax-Bayley rating

That was a good match. Solid. Good work. 8.3 out of 10.

Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest

This match features two of the best in the world, and I think it's going to be a fantastic match. Balor is out first and the Bray, County Wicklow, native is wearing face paint. I never saw that before. Now here comes his former brudder Damian Priest.

These next two matches should be fun, not only because both feature some of the biggest stars in the company, but because of the storylines. Balor is taking a beating, Priest is getting bounced around, but he's starting to make a comeback.

Balor is working over Priest and goes for an old fashioned front facelock. Priest powers out, and hits a huge punch right in Balor's face. He recovers and hits a legsweep. The punch looked like it killed poor Finn, but he bounced back quickly.

Priest recovers and takes over. He goes for a powerbomb. Balor flips out of it, the two start exchanging blows and both men hit the deck. Priest hit Balor with a razor's edge on the apron. I hate moves on the apron, although Priest did take care of him, but most people don't know the apron is much, much harder.

Carlito and JD McDonough interfere, and Balor hits his finisher, but Priest kicks out. Balor is directing traffic, Balor goes for a chairshot, but Priest hits a big boot sending the chair into Balor. He goes for a chokeslam and Balor reverses. Balor hits a few big boots from the top rope, he tires a fourth time and he's intercepted into a chokeslam. He gets the pin.

Damián Priest defeats Finn Balor

Solid match between two of the best. I don't think things are settled completely. I'd like to see them run it back.

Damian Priest-Finn Balor rating

It was a solid match between two true professionals. They did a nice job. 8.3.

Phillies stink

When Bad Blood started, they were up 1-0 over the Mets. They ended up losing 6-2. Sorry, I can't text anyone because I'm working.

Triple H huge announcement

COO Tripe H makes his way to the ring and we're told he has a historic announcement. What could it be? We know where Wrestlemania will be. We know where Summer Slam will be. It looks like it's concerning Crown Jewel. And it also looks like there's a new belt in that bag. He talks about his run in WCW. Terra Ryzing was a stud. Congrats to Atlanta, who spent more money than anyone ever.

Crown Jewel is up next Nov. 2 and he said it's a new era for WWE. OK, so the main events will be champions vs. champions in non-title matches. The winner will be crowned the Crown Jewel champs. And those belts have a lot of gold and diamonds.

Gunther makes his way to the ring. Man, Cody has a lot of enemies and not a whole heck of a lot of friends. Yeet?

The champion shakes hands with HHH, he looks good in a suit. Gunther said he's looking forward to HHH handing him the Crown Jewel championship. He's very confident. Not only does he have to beat Sami Zayn, he also has to knock off Cody Rhodes.

Gunther starts to talk about the legends and mentions Bill Goldberg by name. He recently mentioned that he's his favorite wrestler. Gunther said he lied when he said Goldberg was a hero to him and calls him a one-trick pony. No disrespect. The fans are chanting GOLDBERG GOLDBERG. Say what you want about him, he's an all time great. He now calls out Gage Goldberg, Bill's son. He said he hopes he's a better father than pro wrestler. I actually think he is, Bill's a good dude.

Goldberg jumps the barricade, but every security guard (or possibly independent wrestler in the Atlanta area) get between the two men. You'd think a former defensive lineman would be able to get past them, but instead, Zayn jumps Gunther. They're wrestling in two days on Raw. Gunther is escorted down the ramp while Zayn gives chase.

Triple H raises Goldberg's hand, I'm glad he's back with the WWE. I wouldn't mind him showing up on AEW either. Goldberg wasn't one of my favorites, but I enjoyed his stuff and he is a great dude from everything I've heard.

We better get moving, we still have two matches left and a presser and we need to be done in two hours before UFC. They ran a Royal Rumble promo. We are a few months away from Rumble time. My prediction: John Cena wins his final rumble. But I reserve the right to change that!

Jersey Shore comes to Atlanta

DDP, Diamond Dallas Page was announced. He grew up right here. He's there with Mickie James and former rival, the Big Bad Booty Daddy, Big Poppa Pump, Scott Steiner. I'm guessing they got their tickets from him, since Big Poppa Pump is your hook up. Holla if ya hear me! I've actually talked a lot with DDP over the past year or so, and he truly loves helping people. I like seeing him in the spotlight because he does a lot to help a lot of people.

Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan

Next up are the ladies, and while I worry for Morgan's safety, I'm more concerned about poor Dom Mysterio. Going back behind bars could scar him for life. He doesn't deserve that.

Liv is out and her boyfriend is with her. Why is Dom a bad guy, because beautiful women flock to him? That's not his fault! He had a rough childhood. Deadbeat dad. Then spent time in prison. That changes a man. He's done great to find a stable job, a girlfriend and seems to be getting his life back on track. Until now, he's bound for the shark tank.

Dom and Liv are fantastic together. Dom gets in the cage and Rhea has the cage lifted up. This is simply to scare the poor guy. And Rhea starts fast. She is pounding away on Liv with punches, stomps on the foot and clothesline. She hits a fallaway slam and is in complete control. Meanwhile poor Dom is skyhigh.

Liv is driven face first into the apron and she is in trouble. But she fights back and is going to work on Ripley's knee. Morgan continues the attack and nails a great dropkick to the knee.

Rhea rebounds and hits a nice suplex with a bridge for a two count. Cole said Dom has been behind bars longer tonight than when he was arrested. That was funny.

Liv is back destroying Ripley's knee, ramming the leg into the ring post. Liv hits a sunset flip from the apron to the floor and rams Ripley into the barricade. Now she's on the top rope, hits a crotch chop and double knees to the face and gets a two count. She goes for a tornado DDT. Dom is shouting support. He's such a good boyfriend.

Now Morgan is slapping Rhea, I can't imagine that's a good idea. She goes for the Three Amigos, hits two but then Ripley powers out. She hits a release razor's edge on Morgan, but Dom opened the cage! The door is open as Ripley does to the top rope and hits a frog splash, but Liv kicks out. Ripley puts on a submission hold and Liv gets to the ropes. It was the standing leglock. Dom has the door open, but he's still scared. Right below him, Ripley is beating the heck out of Liv.

Liv thrown into the ring, but Dom falls out of the cage and is hanging by his leg. This isn't good. He looks like a handsome piñata. Ripley said she'll be back to finish off Liv, and heads to where Dom is just hanging out. She grabs a Singapore cane (it's not a kendo stick to ECW fans! ) and she heads over to dangling Dom. She is playing Whack a mole. But Raquel Rodriguez interferes and attacks Rhea. She powerbombs Rhea and puts Liv on top, but it's all for nothing because Liv has already been disqualified. Rodriguez picks up Liv and helps her to the back, with title in hand.

Rhea Ripley beats Liv Morgan by disqualification

This feud continues and I'm happy for that. This was a fun one, not a great match, but a lot of fun.

Rhea Ripley-Liv Morgan rating

They worked hard and put forth an entertaining match. 7.9 thanks to the DQ.

WWE Bad Blood living up to expectations

This card was loaded going in, and not one match has disappointed yet. The opener was one of the best matches of the year, and while it's still the best on the night, the others have been just as good.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu

This is going to be a war. It's the top guys vs. the next guys. Roman Reigns is the top guy in the sport. Cody has been an unbelievable top guy during Reigns' absence and he's right there with the Tribal Chief. Solo took over the Bloodline and has kept them as the top thing on Smackdown despite no Roman, Rock, Jimmy Uso or Paul Heyman. And Fatu is a game changer. His work in MLW was incredible and he's been just as good since arriving. This match is going to be memorable. Here comes the bad guys. Or at least the bad guys in my book, the Bloodline.

If nobody interferes in this match, it will be awesome. If people do, it's going to be even better. It's amazing how many people could interfere in this match and all would make sense. That's great booking.

This is different. A marching band is ringside playing Cody Rhodes' theme. Solo doesn't look amused. I'm sure Fatu isn't. The fans haven't yelled WHOA OH! Maybe they're just doing a verse. They're very good.

OK, now they're playing the theme over the speakers, and the band is playing with them. Think about how cool that is for those kids in the band? Cody wore a mask that he took off and he's headed for the ring. I would start this match with Roman having a delayed entrance. They used to do that a lot when two guys were strange bedfellows. It would make sense here. Put some doubt on if Roman is going to help him. But let's get it started.

Fatu and Solo are great bad guys. They just look so mad. And who could blame them? They came out to house music. Rhodes gets a marching band. And here comes my Tribal Chief. Hold on, got to acknowledge him. OK, I'm back.

Roman isn't wasting energy rushing to the ring. Smart. He hasn't wrestled since April.

I love the history Cole has been giving all night. WWE will always be the biggest and the best, but it's cool they acknowledge previous storylines in other federations.

I'm really happy Jacob Fatu is in this match. He was killing it in places like the 2300 Arena (ECW Arena), which is my favorite venue. But that holds a few thousand. He's wrestling in front of 16000 right now and he doesn't look a bit out of place with three of the biggest stars in the sport. That says a lot about him.

I don't care if Roman is a good guy or a bad guy, he has to be the same guy. He has to be dismissive and talk down to people. He made you feel uncomfortable how he treated people. I loved that. But he's letting Cody start the match. And he'll go up against Fatu. Let's get it started baby!

Cody and Fatu try some punches, but Solo comes in the ring and Reigns joins him. We get another staredown and Roman and Solo leave. Roman is playing with the fans like it's a live event. He looks to be having fun, while at the same time looking sharp as a tack. Solo tags in. Fans call for the OTC.

Roman gets in the ring and goes to work on Solo. He throws him out of the ring and Fatu enters the ring. Ref is mad no tag was made, but Werewolves don't care about tags. Solo hits Roman from behind and goes to work. Maybe he is the Tribal Chief?

Solo acknowledges himself and hits a big ol' butt in the corner. Here comes Fatu. He's a monster. He just looks like a guy who would hurt you and enjoy doing it. He's telling Roman that Solo is the Tribal Chief. He's going to town on Roman in the corner. He once again confirms that Solo is the TC.

Roman throws Fatu out of the ring and makes the tag to the champion. Good teamwork between the two men who main evented the past two Wrestlemanias. Cody hits a powerslam on Fatu. He hits his punches and elbow and Fatu is down. Looks like he's setting him up for a Cody cutter and he drills it. Cody goes for Crossrhodes but Solo jumps in and Fatu pounces. It's time to beat up the champion.

This is where the teamwork comes in. The Bloodline is working well together, keeping Rhodes in the wrong part of town. If you're Cody. If you're the Bloodline, it's a good neighborhood to be in. Cody is getting pummeled.

Cody tries to fight his way to his corner, but Solo won't let him. You don't want a rested Tribal Chief in the ring. That's tag team wrestling 101. If tag team wrestling was a course in high school. It wasn't at mine, sadly.

This was dumb of Cody to accept this match. The Bloodline is just taking turns beating him up. Roman has been idle a long time. If he doesn't make the tag, he's in trouble. He just came so close to making the tag, but Fatu pulled Roman off the apron. I gotta say the Bloodline are ahead of the dream team in every possible way.

Fatu went for a senton but Rhodes got his knees up. Roman is trying to get the fans to cheer for Cody. Wasn't he a bad guy? Fatu tags Solo, and Roman is the legal man. And he is beating Solo up. Roman is going to town on the bad guys and the fans love it.

Roman goes for a Superman punch, but Solo goes for a Samoan Spike. Roman hits a crucifix and gets a two count, then drills Solo with a Superman punch. This is getting good.

Fatu just hit a moonsault and Solo hits a splash, but Cody saves Roman from being pinned. They hit the outside and Cody is prepping the table for landing. But Fatu hits a superkick and Cody misses a rush and attack and Fatu goes through the barrier. But Fatu pops back up. He gets hit with a crossrhodes on the floor. Fatu is standing! If he wasn't a star before tonight, he is now. Rhodes puts him on the table and he ascends the ropes. And he hits a frogsplash through the table. Those two guys are possibly dead. I'll miss em. Never mind, they're moving. Barely.

That leaves the Trible Chief and the Original Tribal Chief in the ring. But both men are down. They are up and exchanging blows. The fans like the OTC, not the TC. Roman sets up Solo for the spear, but tag champs Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa hit the ring. Solo now has the advantage. Solo said Roman lied to him. If that's true, then we all owe Solo an apology.

A masked man showed up and it's Jimmy Uso. He's back! And he just beat up the tag champs. I'm sad that their family is falling apart. Roman hits a spear and that's the match.

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu

Great match. Lots of fun. Lots of plunder. We get Jimmy Uso back. Nothing was really settled because of the Uso return. This isn't over, and it's just getting fun. Roman and Jimmy hug. The OBL (original Bloodline) is getting back together. Nothing but love between those two.

Roman Reigns-Cody Rhodes vs. Bloodline

Maybe not a mat classic, but an entertaining match. 9.5 out of 10.

Rhodes attacked by Bloodline

The tag champs attack Cody, Roman and Jimmy make the save. Roman is a man of his word. But he picked up Cody's championship (that should still be his since a dead man interfered in their match in Philly, which wasn't part of Bloodline rules, but whatever). He hands it to Cody. I want the rubber match. I'd like it tonight. And the Rock is here.

Rock returns at Bad Blood

The Rock comes out to the stage and he does not look happy. He has his BMF title or whatever they call that. I'm not mocking it, I just don't recall. The Muhammad Ali title. The great one maybe? He has no microphone, he's just standing at the top of the ramp staring at Rhodes and Reigns. He turned around and walked out. What an ending to an insanely good show.

Rock returns to WWE at Bad Blood

If the Rock doesn't show up, the show is a huge hit. That was a very tasty cherry on the sundae. Is he mad at Cody? Roman? Both? Neither? Is he Bloodline? New Bloodline? Neither? So many questions. And in wrestling, questions mean a reason to tune into the next show. Rock is back, at least tonight. John Cena is back. CM Punk is back. Cody Rhodes is the top guy in the sport. WWE is as hot as ever right now. I was around for Hulkamania. I was there for the Attitude Era. They were both great. This has the potential to be better.
